HOW WE STARTED
Established in 2005, The Old Rock Shop Bistro can be found on Hamilton Road, in the heart of Cromer town centre…just look for the blue ‘Hovis’ trade bike outside & you’ve found us! Known locally simply as ‘The Bistro’, we named the business to reflect the heritage of the building. If you know Cromer well, you may remember it as J&M’s Rock Shop, a favourite of locals & holiday makers alike, that traded on the site for over 20 years prior to becoming a café.

THE CRAFT BAKERY
EVERYTHING MADE BY HAND
The Craft Bakery is a family-run, traditional bakery in North Norfolk, run by husband & wife team, Paul & Laura. Baking seven days a week out of their industrial units in Northrepps, Cromer, making fresh bread, award-winning sourdough, rolls, pastries, savouries and a huge selection of cakes.
From classic traybakes to fresh cream cakes, everything is made by hand with quality ingredients. As well as their well established high street shop in Sheringham, they also have shops in Cromer, North Walsham & Mundesley.
Laura Thomas, co-owner of the Craft Cakery, said: “We’re so excited to open the doors to the Craft Cakery and share our love of baking with the local community here in Cromer.
Whether you’re popping in for a last-minute ingredient, want to personalise a cake from the Craft Bakery or a supermarket, or if you’re looking for inspiration for your next showstopper, we’ve got something for bakers of all ages and experience. We can’t wait to welcome families over the Bank Holiday weekend and see what everyone creates.
