    On visits to Cromer in 1883 and 1884, a young Quaker artist called Juliet Seebohm drew in her sketchbook some of those she met during her summers in the little windswept fishing town. Among the sketches were drawings of Cromer born fishermen, Billy Mayes, and Gilbert Rook, and the bathing machine owner, Lucy Miller.
