DESCRIPTION:Donated by celebrity artists and talented supporters \nThis event is free for everybody \nCromer Artspace Secret Postcard Sale is a fundraising event\, particularly appropriate for a seaside town featuring beautiful postcard-sized mini masterpieces created by the best local artists around\, along with a few big names too. \nThe postcard creations are all exhibited at Artspace on the Prom\, sold at £25 each on a first come first served basis. As it is a secret sale it will be a surprise to find out who created the postcard that you choose\, although of course you may think you can guess. \nIt’s a real feast for the eyes\, and it’s all for a wonderful cause too\, with all the money raised going to Cromer Artspace providing art and creative opportunities for the community and visitors of Cromer. \nThe money raised will play a key role in keeping Cromer Artspace’s amazing initiative afloat\, and in turn make a real difference to Cromer. \nThank you so much to everyone involved in the event – all the wonderful artists who’ve donated a beautiful creation\, to all our volunteers and supporters and to you for visiting and purchasing a postcard. \nOpening event: Friday August 14\, 17:30 \nOpen Late: Thursday August 20 and 27\, 18:00-20:00

Their trademark harmonies mixed with intricate rhythms\, clicking and clapping are highlighted during their brilliantly choreographed shows with a full range of movements from subtle to vibrant stomping and leaping!\nTheir famous Gumboot Dances showcase the traditional styles and rituals of the South African mining regions and are a particular crowd pleaser. \nThe group formed in 1982 in Bulawayo\, Zimbabwe\, naming themselves after the Umfolozi Omnyama River –an area to which their ancestors can be traced to. \nArguably Zimbabwe’s greatest ambassadors\, the group have toured the UK many times building up a lasting relationship with venues and their fans. DESCRIPTION:Treat yourself to a day of sewing at the elegant Cliftonville hotel. You will be allocated your table on arrival for setting up your sewing machine. Teas and coffees will be available on arrival. The Cliftonville is situated on the beautiful Cromer coastline. Spend the day as you wish\, sewing a project of your choice with fellow enthusiasts\, with Cromer Seamstress on hand for any advice or pro tips. Take a break to admire the sea views or have a stroll. A buffet lunch of sandwiches\, pastries and cake is available (this will be a Roast dinner out of season) and can be pre- booked for £10pp when booking your space. \nTimes: Arrival from 9am for set up and teas and coffees \nMorning session: 9:30-12:30pm \nLunch hour: 12:30-1:30pm (Optional buffet lunch can be pre booked for £10pp) \nAfternoon session: 1:30-4:30pm \nPack up time: 4:30-5pm4 hour pass option can be used at any time of the day (it doesn’t include lunchtime so you get a full 4 hours sewing time). Morning and afternoon session tickets are also available. \nProject ideas: All sewing projects are suitable\, whether you are making a cushion cover or your own clothes.
